A Hugo-nominated, bestselling editor of more than 20 anthologies, he was the first editor on Andy Weir's The Martian and has edited work for Frank Herbert's estate, Alan Dean Foster, and Todd McCaffrey, among others. He is also the author of novels including The Worker Prince and the writing guide How to Write a Novel: The Fundamentals of Fiction.
