Born December 1, Lola Jaye is an acclaimed British author, registered psychotherapist, and public speaker. Born and raised in London, she has also spent portions of her life living in Nigeria and the United States. Her transition into a professional writing career began to gather significant international attention with the release of her first U.S. novel, By the Time You Read This, published by HarperCollins in 2009. She has since authored multiple novels across contemporary and historical fiction, as well as an inspirational self-help book. Her 2022 epic historical novel, The Attic Child, achieved major critical success, earning a nomination for the Jhalak Prize and a shortlisting for The Diverse Book Awards.
