FDR and The New Deal For Beginners

Description

The history of the precedent-making Franklin D. Roosevelt administration, which weathered the bitter economic depression by introducing programmes to empower artists and working people, here comes alive as the grandest social experiment in the history of American democracy. For the first time this timely story can be seen through an innovative comic narrative accompanying historic illustrations. Each chapter begins with four to five pages of original comic art by an established artist, followed by the For Beginners series' traditional mix of illustrations.
