'Blacks talk to Kevin Gilbert', interviews carried out between October 1974 and August 1976; The original aims of this book were to show the actual condition of Aboriginal people in Australia through their own testimony and from this to show how they think about themselves and their background. The interviews fulfill the second of these aims, but not the first.
