Description
Story for 8 to 12 year olds. Lonely Keiren longs for a dog that can win the annual dog show hurdle race. A mysterious stranger called Jack Ellis befriends him and tells him dog stories. Jack leaves suddenly, leaving a dog called Tommy behind as a present. The author's other publications include 'The Wizard's Torment' and 'Old Bones'. He edited the MUP Encyclopaedia of Australian Science Fiction and Fantasy.
