House of Leaves, fuck yeah m/ And Cormac McCarthy! Have you read 'The Passenger'/'Stella Maris'?
I also own those, and they are on the to-do list as well. Honestly if I just finished out all of McCarthy's works this year that would be enough.
He's such a versatile writer, it's weird for me thinking those two were written by the same author as Blood Meridian. DO ITTTTT! McCarthy binge 2026 🙌🏻
If you haven't already, I recommend Suttree. It's a semi-autobiographical book that's kind of like Cormac doing Huckleberry Finn
