I think we've come full circle where this isn't a hot take anymore, but for at least a decade it was. This is genuinely a good album along Silver Side Up.

I cannot stand Falling in Reverse

I have personally enjoyed most of what Seether has released.
Metalcore peaked in 2009 and it's been struggling to get back to that ever since.

Blood Mountain is the best Mastodon followed by Remission. Early ICP and Twiztid is actually not terrible and often has really cool production. Esoteric Warfare is the best Mayhem album and pretty much perfect.
Remission was my favorite Mastodon album from the beginning. The new one might surpass it, though.

The new one has a Pink Floyd vibe to it, if that interests you at all
Verified that it in fact rules via work jam. The tripped out last half of The Three Fates is amazing, The Vanishing and In the Ruins stood out too. Definitely got the Floyd vibes
ICP aren't awful agreed and Esoteric Warfare does rip! I don't think it beats DMDS for me but it's fighting for second with Chimera.
Asking Alexandria is one of the most overrated Metalcore bands of all time.
