The Franchise mode is fun but I recently got into Road to the Show and I cannot put it down.
The fielding is a little gimmicky though I am not sure if there is a better way to handle it. The pitching feels appropriately overpowered as it is the easiest thing to get good at. Hitting is so hard even o the lowest difficulties.
But that's baseball.

I used to play the game religiously. This year's game lost me, though. It's just the same thing, over and over. I feel like there are almost last Gen graphics, and the "tweaks" to the gameplay are hardly even that.
I totally understand. The last MLB The Show I owned before this one was 23.
What difficulty is your pitching set to lol
Dynamic but it adjusts between Veteran and All-Star. Any higher and the opposing batters are able to make solid contact when they shouldn't. You shouldn't be able to consistently drive a single, at 105 mph, up the middle on a 0-2 count on a slider outside of the zone. Can it happen? Sure. But thats a bad pitch to swing at, in that situation, and I'm not pitching to Pujols, Bonds, Griffey or Gwynn. Ya know.
