The Pitt continues with what made season 1 so successful. Its triumph lies in its strong character writing and its navigation of anxiety-riddling episodes - not unlike the early seasons of The Bear. Perhaps most importantly, its focus on unrelenting empathy and compassion makes it a breath of fresh air in increasingly cynical times.
