Occulty banger

Paranormal podcasters receive an email from a random address containing ten audio files. The recordings get more and more alarming, and one of the podcasters goes down a rabbit hole as her skepticism hits its breaking point.

This movie has been pretty divisive and is definitely a slow burn. Undertone doesn’t go for jump scares or much in terms of visual scares at all, but instead goes the route of a brooding, slow descent into paranoia. This shit really nails that feeling you get when you feel like there’s something right behind you, or like there’s something watching you.
