I absolutely love WITTR so I was naturally very excited to see they had a new album on the way. I pre-ordered this vinyl as soon as it was announced. And I have to say, not disappointed. It's not as immediately strong as their previous release. However, it's extremely moody and atmospheric, and frequently outright doomy. I could see it growing. But as it is it's a strong album. 3.9/5 or so.

Listening to the new The Blood Mountain Black Metal Choir album now and it fuckin RIPS.
Alright, vocals on Knights of Tiamat are growing on me. Very much a callback to their earlier work.
Definitely feels like the most outright mournful album they've released which makes sense given the album's theme.
