Ken Liu was born in 1976 in Lanzhou, China, before emigrating to the United States at the age of eleven. Holder of a doctorate in law (Harvard University), programmer, translator from Chinese, he has been dynamiting American genre literature, science fiction as well as fantasy, for ten years, collecting distinctions and literary prizes, including the Hugo, the Nebula and the World Fantasy for "Paper Menagerie" alone, which remains unique to this day. This collection, developed within a considerable corpus, and without equivalent in English, celebrates the emergence of the most brilliant of talents, protean and singular - the advent of a phenomenon.
