A forgotten asteroid colony. An AI with a genocidal agenda. One woman with the power to prevent catastrophe. Space Corps field agent Elfrida Goto evicts people. From asteroids, that is. It's an unpleasant job, but someone's got to do it. In the year 2285, a vast space colonization project to terraform Venus requires untold quantities of raw materials. But while Elfrida wrangles with the reclusive space colonists of asteroid 11073 Galapagos, a sneak attack on her home base thrusts her onto the front lines of the war in space that has convulsed the solar system for the last hundred years. Now, the asteroid 11073 Galapagos is a target. And so is Elfrida. Teaming up with a devil-may-care wannabe Star Force pilot, Elfrida makes a desperate gamble to save the colonists. But her plans go wrong. Now she's hurtling towards a confrontation with the most dangerous enemy humanity has ever known ... and her only weapon is a sword.
