These are in a very loose order, mostly in rankings of 5 (so 1-5 would be by highest favorites, so on and so on) but these are probably my favorite horror movies I have watched in my time. Sure there are a lot of classics I left out and thats not me saying they are bad, I am just saying these ones are special to me and really stand out.

This movie came out during a hard time in life and its themes and plot spoke to me closely. I love the action, acting, score and everything about it.

Instantly Iconic with stellar performances across the board that brings this movie to the next level. And the soundtrack is gorgeous

The biggest step in the recent horror renaissance. While there are better movies than this one, I can't deny how much I liked it and how pivotal its been in the cinema industry

Honestly is the best blend of comedy and horror and was an amazing theater experience to watch.

I am a sucker for found footage horror and this is the best one

Love seeing Evil Dead remake love, though. And Hell House is way better than it has any right to be. Kind of surprised you have so many movies that are only a couple years old on here.
