My Favorite Albums at the Moment

By MonkeyDPoopy Founder· September 8, 2026 · 9 items ·8 views

This list is what I would consider the best albums from the first to the last. Not every album can be a band's best unfortunately, but from these, the bands are flawless.

Safe Is Just a Shadow
Ice Nine Kills · 2010
A bit of a sleeper but I love the dynamic of vocals on this album. It has so much range.
The Color Before the Sun8A-
The Color Before the Sun
Coheed and Cambria · 2015
I know this is one of their least loved albums, but it's the one I started with so it holds a special place for me.
Little Garden7A
Little Garden
Dwellings · 2023
When Dance Gavin Dance had yet another controvesry with their lead vocalist I found this band. If you like the vibe of DGD I highly reccomend this band.

Arrows in Action · 2026
This band is my new obsession, I'm still in the process of discesting their albums but this one is definatley a hit. I see them live next week again so i'm excited.
Take Me Back to Eden5B
Take Me Back to Eden
Sleep Token · 2023
I don't understand the backlash this band gets in the metal community. I think like rock, metal is broad and doesn't have to fit a certain mold or sound. As a hater of this band for a long time, I think sitting down and actually listeninng to them made me realize this band is one of the best song writers I have ever seen. I'm so glad I actually went back and gave them a chance, they are truly one of the better bands thats come out latley.

Rise Against · 2008
I'll always appreciate this band for getting me into this realm of music. Before Rise Against I didn't care for music, this was the band that got me sitting on my bed with my IPod Nano just delving into bands. They have a lot of good albums but this is the one that really is just perfection from beginning to end.
The Flood3A
The Flood
Of Mice & Men · 2011
I think everyone remembers their introduction into metal. While everyone was worshiping Asking Alexandria and BMTH in highschool, I was walking around with my Of Mice and Men T-Shirt and skinny jeans. I don't think the band will ever be the same since the departure of Austin Carlile but for at least 10 years of my life this was my favorite album of all time. The way The Calm, The Storm, The Flood, and The Depths flow into eachother but still stand as alone is pretty awesome.
The Crucible of Life2A-
The Crucible of Life
The Home Team · 2024
I have a playlist of "song's I can't skip" and so many of the songs on this album are on it. They're a band that was shared with me right before the hardest times of my life by my late friend. It's hard to say they're not my favorite band just because of the countless hours this album has blasted in my ears.

Don Broco · 2018
To this day I remember being with my friend going to see Our Last Night, and at the time they were our favorite band. Only to have this smaller band that we never heard of from the UK opening for them. Lets just say my friend and I left that venue listening to this album all the way home. Their most recent stuff may not be my favorite, but I can for sure say this will always be my favorite album of all time.
