Review of Hell House LLC by Misshapen_Steed

Stupid, dumb movie. Basically none of the scares land; there was only one moment that I actually felt unsettled. I just don't really understand what anyone would get out of this.

Abaddon Hotel? Abaddon, New York?? Are you fucking kidding me? My eyes rolled back into my head thrice over when I heard that.

This found footage documentary style seems really easy to do awfully to me. The Poughkeepsie Tapes is a sure step above this (that one has a handful more of actually eerie/disturbing moments), and I don't really think I'll ever see another horror mockumentary of the caliber of Lake Mungo, a movie that is actually scary, profoundly sad and has something of emotional weight to say. And I'm fine with stuff that doesn't really have anything to say, but it needs to at least be comprehensible with good scares or go overboard into schlock territory. This is just boring nothingness. An abyss of vapidity.
