Samantha Englund wakes in a cold sweat after murdering a janitor in a train station bathroom. The dream had everything she could hope a dash of sex, gratuitous violence, and a demonic voice egging her on. All in all, the perfect writing prompt. Although the grisly dreams help her web serial go viral, they also attract unwanted attention. After being detained by the authorities, Samantha learns her dreams mirror a string of killings on the other side of the country. After retired police detective Christopher Reyes shows up with his sketchbook and she’s accused of plagiarism by a prominent New York novelist, she realizes others are being plagued with the same horrific visions. As the nightmares continue and bodies pile up closer to home, Samantha, Christopher, and the best-selling author must join forces to hunt down the killer. If they fail, she may have to publish posthumously.
