Since coming to Atlanta, Tiffemory Greenstone has made it her duty to protect the vulnerable youth of the city. That's not always easy for an Outsider with a forged PI license and little to no detective experience. Luckily, in this reality, parents seem to have a weird habit of hanging onto their children's milk teeth. Tiffemory experiences the worst kind of déjà vu when a previous client's daughter is kidnapped for the second time in six months. The good news is that Tiff immediately knows it's the rival fairy she banished during their last encounter. Unfortunately, rescuing Mallory from a vendetta-fueled rogue tooth fairy who is more than her equal may cost her more than she expects.
