Typically a horror nerd but the horror well has dried up pretty good. A lot of these were me just letting Tubi auto play whatever popped up first. Somehow ended up with an unintentional theme of dysfunctional families/serial killers

Dark comedy about a man planning to shoot up his workplace. Enjoyed it. Some of the visuals in it were eh but other than that pretty solid

Buddy Giovinnazo flick. His movie Combat Shock is one of my feel bad favorites. Can’t say I’d recommend it to most people (shoestring budget/very slow moving). This one is probably more likely to be enjoyed by most. Tim Roth is awesome here

Another rewatch. Been well over a decade since I’d first watched this and didn’t remember much about it. Wonderfully weird Junji Ito adaptation. Never got around to seeing the sequels but I’m going to try to track them down even though I’ve heard it’s essentially the same thing over and over

Japanese horror mood. Rewatch. Not a perfect movie but ominous as hell and probably my favorite from the era and region.

Another one from the director of Pulse. Interesting plot involving hypnotism and killings. Dude is good at creating an atmosphere

Horror movie of the year for me. Dude is 3 for 3 so far and probably the best director horror has had in quite awhile. Excited to see what he does next

So much cool shit crammed into a short runtime. Music and art are borderline perfect

I've never heard of Dead Man Walking. It being directed by Tim Robbins is interesting.

Yeah I didn’t notice he directed until I’d finished it. Looks like he did a few other things too but that was the first I’d seen. Also features a real young Jack Black
