What a strange collage of missed opportunities. Every last bit of the charm of the webseries is conspicuously absent, here. Thoughtful ambience replaced with an abusive degree of corny narration. The technical intrigue of its setting reworked into a never-ending therapy session. A bureaucratic entit...

Backrooms displays promising chops from the newcomer.
Unfortunately the fun aesthetic and cinematography is dragged down by tired tropes, uninteresting characters, and a meandering script which lacks direction and focus.
